It is approx 7 miles South of San Luis and approx 9 miles to the New Mexico border. Water is provided by well or cistern. There are at least two other wells in this same area. One is 181 feet deep and the other is 137 feet deep. Although there is never any guarantee you will find water, San Luis Valley sits over the second largest aquifer on the continent. It is the perfect area for a solar home although there is electric available at the North end of Wild Horse Mesa. This area has no dues.
